To change the camera angle in the home run derby press the right shift button while the ball is in flight. You can do this more than once.

If you have men on third and first, lead off two steps (push L twice) as soon as you can. When the pitcher starts his motion, push L once more, AND THEN steal second (up+B). If done correctly, the catcher will throw to third base, where the guy will already have returned safely to the base. By the time the 3rd baseman throws to second base, it's too late.

With two strikes, press and hold the direction toward the batter and press "C" to pitch. Immediately after that, press and hold the direction opposite of the batter. As long as your pitcher is not fatigued, and you are on the rookie or veteran level, the CPU will swing at it, missing it by far.

This only works with 1 strike on the batter. (It works on all levels of difficulty as far as I know) Press only "C" to pitch, (no directions held) then after the pitch is released, move the ball just out of the strike zone away from the batter. He will swing and miss. NOTE: The pitch cannot be too far out of the strike zone, or else the CPU will not swing.

When the pitcher starts his motion, push L once more, AND THEN steal second (up+B), in between the throw to third push down+B the 3rd basemen will try and tag the man that's trying to steal home. When the man slides home, the 3rd baseman will throw the ball home and the man will be called safe. You have a run scored and a man on 2nd.
