Fire ProWrestling: 6 Man Scramble Review by: Jonathan Leung It's amazing that Sega fails to bring any wrestling games to America. The Playstation has WCW vs. The World, Power Move Pro Wrestling, and many wrestling games in Japan while the Saturn has about 2. However, while the other wrestling game on the Saturn is weak, this wrestling game is just simply amazing. A lot of wrestlers plus many modes, adding a wrestler creation mode equals amazingly high replay value. There are many wrestlers in the game, including some of the US like Vader, Hogan, Sting, LOD, and Undertaker. There, of course, are wrestlers from Japan like Liger, Ultimo Dragon, and the Great Sasuke. Other notable wrestlers in the game are Sabu, Van Dam, Mysterio, Konnan, Psychosis, and Ken Shamrock. You can battle in many modes like Victory Road, Death Match, UFC-like Octagon Fighting, Battle Royal, Elimination Match, or if you want, just a plain old one-on-one match. The game is packed with moves. Being a wrestling fan myself, I was kinda amazing by some of the moves in the game. There are various submissions like the STF, Boston Crab, and Figure Four. There are Powerbombs, DDTs, Frankensteiners, Moonsaults, Senton Splashes, the works. Off the top rope, you can execute moonsaults, big splashes, elbow drops, or a Shooting Star Press. Just amazing... The graphics are pretty good and the control is just splendid. The game works at a pretty good speed. There is an extremely high language barrier as you don't know what the Japanese words are, but you'll get used to it. Plus, you can check the Internet for Fire Pro Wrestling S websites to help you along. Overall, this may well be the best game on the Saturn ever. It gives Fighters MegaMix a serious run for its money. This game is worth every penny. Grab a Converter and Fire Pro Wrestling S, it's worth it! GRADE: 9.8/10
