A catastrophe has split the world into separate realms. Now you and seven other wizards are vying to restore these realms so that you may rule over them. But not only must you battle with the other wizards, you must also overcome a host of extremely hostile creatures intent on thwarting your plans.

While fighting off the challenges of your rivals you must also collect and store the magical energy or manna which can be found on every level - this is the real key to absolute power. To keep your manna safe from the clutches of other wizards you can erect your own fortress.

As a powerful wizard in your own right you have an impressive arsenal of powerful spells at your disposal, including the ability to change the geographical layout of the terrain; the creation of ravines and volcanoes are powerful methods of disposing of rivals. Magic Carpet realistically duplicates the movement and fluidity of flying through air. The low tech mode of transport, a flying carpet means that the player just gets up and goes for it; no tedious controls and no tome-like manuals to worry about.
